Development Planning and Applications
Early appraisal of a concept can often avoid unwarranted problems, costs and delays if addressed during the planning phase. Being involved at the beginning allows us to undertake a broad review of the various aspects of a project with our design and construction phase team resulting in beneficial feedback.
Civil Dimensions provide preliminary engineering reports assisting in timely approvals and avoiding lengthy information requests by addressing local authority codes and stormwater water management policies in the early phases of a project.
Operational Works - Design Documentation
Civil Dimensions management and team leaders are well educated with statutory and local authority standards, specifications and polices. Designers and draftspersons are selected for each project based on experience in similar projects and proven performance to provide Detail Design Drawings and Documentation for Operational Work Applications.
Timely approvals are promoted by the combination of our technical excellence in coordination with our rapport amongst various authorities and their assessment officers.
Tendering and Contract Administration
In coordination with the Client, Civil Dimensions utilise a preferred contractor list based on proven performance when issuing a Tender request (exception - public tender). Upon receipt of tender responses, an analysis review with personnel experienced in construction, contract administration and claims is undertaken in order to seek out anomalies that have the potential to incur significant costs and delays.
Civil Dimensions uses current Australian Standards in the preparation and administration of a contract. The appointed Superintendent in coordination with the design and construction compliance team diligently administer the contract ensuring claims processed are fair, reasonable and in accordance with the contract.
Superintendent Duties and As Constructed Certification
Civil Dimensions appoints dedicated experienced personnel to undertake Superintendent Duties, Compliance checks and Site Audits throughout the construction phase of a project. Monitoring on-site activity and checking conformance to design and relevant authority specifications through to As Constructed Certifications and Asset Handover.
