Project Description

Set in the hills of Caboolture, Wamuran Outlook is a rural development consisting of 62 allotments ranging from 3000m2 to 9000m2 in size.

The development was divided into 3 stages and included significant external infrastructure works including the upgrade of Sumsion Road and Water Main augmentation along Campbells Pocket Road from, Old North Road to Mountain Track Drive.

Land use was optimised by avoiding the need for an individual site dedicated to stormwater detention. By controlling the central creek via the road crossing with culverts under, mitigation storage was achieved within the creek alignment with little impact on flood line levels and allotment sizes.

Related Works:

  • External Roadworks - 300m of new road construction.
  • External Watermains - 1300m of 150mm dia
  • Bio retention Basins for all allotments for water quality purposes
  • Fire trails protecting properties from the threat of fire in adjoining bush land.
